Hi there,

I got a call from my daughter to say she had something special to tell me. When I arrived home she told me that she had asked all her friends not to give her a birthday present on Friday and to give her a donation to the MacMillan Nurses instead, even her teachers gave her money for her cause. She has raised £80, and there is more still coming. I feel so proud of her for being so thoughtful, she is not materialistic and thought it would be lovely in her Grandad's memory to do something like this.

We have a really large total too in Dad's memory, and it is still coming in. Smile

What a wonderful girl you have. She is so very special and kind. There are so many spoiled selfish young people its nice to know your daughter is so caring !

Happy Birthday Mhairi ThumpUp, what a very kind and thoughtful thing you have done. When your Mum told me it brought tears to my eyes. Your Mum is rightly very proud of you Smile
